Ningaloo Whale Sharks Western Australia are one of the largest creatures on this planet and the largest fish in the world. The largest confirmed individual had a length of 12.65 metres (41.50 ft) and a weight of more than 21.5 tonnes (47,000 lb), but unconfirmed claims report considerably larger whale sharks. To get the opportunity to dive or swim with a whale shark makes you realise how beautiful nature can be, their size is insignificant to their gentle and inquisitive nature.
Every year, they visit the Ningaloo Reef from March until August. They are filter feeders and eat enormous amounts of plankton, krill, and anchovies as they swim. Whale sharks are slow swimmers and move their entire bodies from side to side. They swim on the surface, so all you need to swim with them is a mask, snorkel, and fins. Even though they are a shark, they are totally harmless and seem to enjoy the interaction with people.
We manage every aspect of your experience to assure you and your family walk away happy having a lifelong memory of swimming with whale sharks. Exmouth and the Ningaloo Coast World Heritage Area are considered to host one of the most majestic untouched coral reef areas on the globe. Kings have made their name by being synonymous with providing tours of this magnificent underwater wonderland in a friendly 5 star environment.

“AMAZING DAY AND GREAT CREW!”
5 of 5 stars- Reviewed by admRokoko
Everything was just perfect! We were lucky because it was fully booked for our date but the nice dutch girl in the office helped us out by letting us know when 2 other guests cancelled. Great service from the start.
We got picked up by a transfer bus and the two girls who was with the company were really friendly. The tour we did was AMAZING! We knew from before that they don’t focus on the humpbacks, as they try to make sure you see a little bit of everything. We started with some snorkeling on the reef, before getting out to find the bigger stuff. A few turtles in the bay and loads of humpback wales around. The first group jumped in the water to watch the humpback. Unfortunately they are fast and good swimmers (the wales….. the snorkelers too maybe but not fast enough) so they missed him.
We got the news that it was 6 whale sharks around so we headed towards them. Plenty of time for everyone to swim around and enjoy these beautiful animals. Then more great news, a big group of orcas (killer whales) were spotted nearby, so we headed towards them. Meanwhile we had dolphins swimming and jumping in front of us! The orcas were amazing!!! And we stayed watching them so long that we almost forgot to have our lunch.. The food was great!
Thumbs up to the chef! She’s a keeper! There was even a Mola-Mola (sunfish) nearby and sights of a tiger shark. When we were approaching land there were a humpback female and her calf resting in the shallow water in the bay. We stopped to watch the baby whale play around while the mom was taking a siesta. Awesome! A big thanks to the crew!!
Really professional and positive! It makes the experience so much better when people around you loves what they do. If you are thinking about taking a tour, don’t think twice, book it! Its worth every dollar! Took the tour 30th of August and their last tour for the season is 31st. Great way to end the season!!
